Born in the west of Ireland, I grew up in the quiet countryside before pursuing a career in hairdressing. I began working backstage for fashion shows and photoshoots in 2008 during high school before deciding to work in a salon the following year.

 

I began training with Toni&Guy in 2011 and picked up an award for Assistant of the Year in 2013. Later that year I moved to Dublin and began developing my upstyling and haircutting skills under the tutelage of Toni&Guy Ireland's head educator Katherine Sweeney.

 

At this point hairdressing was the only career I had ever worked and so I needed to diversify my skillset. In the four following years: I moved to west Germany and to south Ireland before settling in Berlin while working at a bank, music festival, hotel restaurant, an airline, a customer service website and a cat shelter.

 

I returned to the salon environment, working as an educator for Toni&Guy in Berlin before the Corona pandemic shook the world. Based now in Berlin, I am building up my client base in this city I call home.
